Over the last months, I was working with a team of highly skilled information architects, UX-designers and developers to rethink and redesign the online shop of well-known gourmet food and coffee distributor Dallmayr.
The most difficult assignment was to work with the underlying structure of the shop’s system and the connected merchandise management and, therefore, to find the most usable and visually pleasing compromises.

To focus on the products themselves and refurbish the image of Dallmayr’s online presence the overall design language is aimed to be crystal clear, classy, with distinct usage of white space and a slight editorial touch.

My role was to work on the visual concepts regarding the use of typography, colours, imagery and developing an icon language that fits the overall appearance and has the abilty to stand out as well.
